Mukesh Choudhary and Mohsin Khan, two promising young cricketers, are doubtful for the upcoming 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL) due to injury concerns. However, his shoulder injury has ruled him out of action for several months, and he may not be fit in time for the IPL 2023 season. It is really disheartening to play only 5 Tests a year; maybe, we will play more games this year: Mathews, Angelo

Angelo Mathews, the former captain of Sri Lanka, has expressed his disappointment regarding the lack of Test matches played by the national team. He stated that the insufficient number of Tests being played will not be beneficial for Sri Lanka in the long run. Mathews highlighted his concern about Sri Lanka playing a Test match after a gap of more than six months, as it makes it difficult for the players to get accustomed to a particular routine before preparing for any series. During the first Test against New Zealand in Christchurch, Mathews scored 47 runs and surpassed the 7,000-run mark in Tests. After the game, he expressed his desire for the national side to have more opportunities to play Test matches in the future. Sri Lanka still has a chance to reach the World Test Championship final, with Australia being the only team that has already qualified. The chances for India depend on the outcome of the ongoing fourth and final Test taking place in Ahmedabad against Australia ...

"In advance, congratulations to DC." - Internet users are perplexed by Grace Harris' omission from the UP Warriorz XI against the Delhi Capitals.

In the ongoing Women’s Premier League (WPL), UP Warriorz made a bold decision to drop their star player Grace Harris in their match against Delhi Capitals. Despite her match-winning performance in the previous game against Gujarat Giants, Harris warmed the bench as the Healy-led Warriorz won the toss and elected to field first. In the previous match, Gujarat Giants had set a solid target of 169 runs in their first innings, but the Warriorz chased it down with the help of a stunning innings from Harris. Harris had scored a quickfire 59* runs off 26 balls, including seven fours and two maximums, to clinch the victory for her team. However, she was excluded from the playing XI in the match against Delhi Capitals. The decision to drop Harris could prove costly for the Warriorz, but Shabnim Ismail's recent impressive performances in the Women's T20 World Cup 2023 may work in their favor. Both teams come into th...

Zimbabwe vs Ireland

After taking a 1-0 lead in the 3-match ODI series, Zimbabwe will look to continue their winning momentum against visitors Ireland when the two sides take on each other in the 2nd ODI on Saturday, 21st January.  The match is scheduled to start at 12:45 pm IST at the Harare Sports Club in Harare. The 1st ODI was a rain-interrupted thriller as the hosts won the match by 3 wickets through the DLS method. Although centuries from Harry Tector and Andrew Balbirnie inflicted some levels of pain upon the shoulders of the hosts, Ireland were unable to get the better of Zimbabwe.  We can certainly expect the Irishmen to stage a comeback in the 2nd ODI, provided that the hosts let them. However, Balbirnie has been ruled out of the rest of the series because of a concussion that he sustained upon getting hit on the helmet. Balbirnie’s absence will surely affect the visitors plans of making a comeback in the 2nd ODI.  As for the hosts, Sikandar Raza and Ryan Burl are the top batsmen pi...
