Recently, people of all ages in India celebrated the festival of colors, Holi, with full enthusiasm. Even India's cricket players celebrated the festival and shared pictures of their Holi celebrations.
Yuzvendra Chahal, Team India's spin bowler, celebrated Holi with his fellow teammates at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru. Chahal shared a photo on Instagram with Ravi Bishnoi, Washington Sundar, Deepak Hooda, Arshdeep Singh, and Umran Malik. He captioned the post, "Happy Holi," along with a heart emoji.
In the photo shared by Chahal, all the cricketers can be seen posing happily for pictures, and it seems like they had an amazing time. The splash of colors on their faces tells the story of their Holi celebration at the NCA.
After the cricketer posted the photo, a lot of Indian fans wished him a very happy Holi in the comments section.
Meanwhile, Indian players who are taking part in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy also shared photos and videos of their Holi celebration on social media. India's opening batter Shubman Gill uploaded a clip, which saw Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, other team members, and coaching staff playing with colors while traveling on a team bus. Kohli was seen singing a trendy song "Calm Down" and matching steps to it with full joy.
On the other hand, the fourth and final Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy began on March 9 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Unfortunately, Rohit Sharma and Co. were unlucky on Day 1 as Australia won the toss and chose to bat first. Australia scored 255/4 at stumps on Day 1. For India, Mohammed Shami, who returned to the playing XI, claimed two wickets, and the spin duo of Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja picked one each.
India won the first two Tests against Australia and retained the prestigious Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Australia, on the other hand, made a terrific comeback and defeated India in the third Test, securing their spot in the World Test Championship (WTC) final, which will be played on June 7. The Ahmedabad Test is crucial for India to reach the WTC final.
