Ravichandran Ashwin describes Ravindra Jadeja's anguish after getting out cheaply in the final Test: "I saw him sit in one place for an hour."

Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja played a crucial role in India's Border-Gavaskar Trophy series win against Australia. The spin duo's impressive performance in the first two Tests helped India take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series. Despite losing the third Test in Indore, India managed to clinch the series after the fourth and final Test ended in a draw.

Speaking to broadcasters after the final Test, Ashwin praised Jadeja, stating that playing together has made them both better players. He acknowledged that they started their journey a long time ago but they wouldn't be as lethal without each other.

Ashwin also credited Jadeja for giving him the freedom to be creative with the ball and commended his bowling in the Delhi Test. The veteran spinner added that he saw Jadeja upset after getting out on 28 in India's first innings during the final Test, which showed how disappointed he was.

Despite losing the third Test, Ashwin and Jadeja's exceptional performance in the series helped India clinch their first Test series win in Australia in 71 years.

Ravindra Jadeja has expressed his delight in bowling alongside Ravichandran Ashwin in the recently concluded Border-Gavaskar Trophy series against Australia.
